Paediatrics Revision Course
The one-day Paediatric Revision Course focuses on the essential, core knowledge required to pass paediatric finals. The course is intensive and exam-oriented, with particular attention paid to the topics that come up in finals. All the sessions are interactive and take full advantage of audio-visual aids to ensure familiarity with clinical scenarios and examination techniques.
The content of the course has evolved over eight years of development, to take into account both changes in the practice of paediatrics as well as trends in examination questions. Feedback from delegates nationwide is carefully examined and used to direct new course content.
The Paediatrics revision course will be jointly presented by Dr Sarah Eisen and Dr James Ross.
Dr Sarah Eisen is an Academic Clinical Fellow at the Institute of Child Health, UCL. Currently, Sarah is undertaking a PhD at UCL in Paediatric HIV Medicine as a Wellcome Trust Fellow, while holding an honorary clinical contract at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Trust. Dr James Ross is a paediatrician working in London with an interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and Medical Education. He recently completed a Medical Education Fellowship with the London School of Paediatrics and has been involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical training for a number of years for which he has received a number of awards.
