The MDU 2012 Professional Challenges in Medical Practice Workshops
The MDU’s one-day workshop has been developed to help doctors and healthcare professionals identify and deal with a range of issues related to professionalism and good medical practice.
The workshop has a practical focus and provides plenty of opportunity for discussion in both large and small groups. Areas covered include:
- Professional expectations and obligations
- Stress and time management
- Professional leadership
Who will be speaking
The MDU Professional Challenges in Medical Practice Workshops will be run in association with Healthcare Performance Limited and led by qualified coach Dr Emma Sedgwick MBBS, BSc, MRCPsych, DCH, MBA, NLP Coach and Dr Mike Roddis BSc MB ChB MBA FRCPath. Dr Sedgwick and Dr Roddis will also be joined by a doctor from the MDU medico-legal advisory team.

- Friday 5 October 2012
All workshops will be held at the MDU head office in London and run from 9am-5pm.
How much
- MDU members - £150
- Non MDU members - £195
Registration fees include an attendance certificate (approved for 5 CPD credits by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK), course materials, lunch and refreshments.
