The DDU Dento-legal and risk management CPD course
The GDC recommends you keep yourself up-to-date by undertaking CPD in legal and ethical issues, and in complaints handling.
The DDU Dento-legal and risk management CPD course provides six hours of verifiable CPD and has been developed to cover all three areas providing delegates with the necessary knowledge to review and improve the quality of their services.
The course is interactive and encourages delegate participation through group discussion. Areas covered include:
- assessing and managing risk in dental practice
- good record keeping
- confidentiality and consent
- complaints
- legal guidelines affecting dental practice

Courses run from 9am - 5pm.
How much
- DDU dentist member - £120
- DDU DCP* member - £60
- Non-DDU dentist member - £150 Apply to join
- Non-DDU DCP* member - £75 Apply to join
Fees include course materials, lunch and refreshments. All delegates will receive a signed certificate of attendance (certified for six hours verifiable CPD).
